Delete PDF Pages

Remove unwanted pages from a PDF — blank pages, covers, or mistakes — and save the trimmed document.

Type the pages you want gone, preview exactly which pages remain, and download a trimmed copy. Your original file is never modified, and everything runs in your browser with no upload.

Your file never leaves your browser — pages are removed on your device, and your original file is not changed.

How to use this calculator

  1. Choose the PDF you want to trim.
  2. Type the pages to delete, e.g. 2, 5-6.
  3. Read the preview of remaining pages to confirm.
  4. Click Delete Pages and save the trimmed PDF.

The formula

Kept pages = all pages of the document minus the pages in your delete list, kept in their original order.

Worked example

In an 8-page PDF, deleting pages 2 and 5 leaves a 6-page document containing the original pages 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, and 8.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this change my original file?

No. The tool builds a new PDF containing only the pages you keep and downloads that copy. Your original file on your device is never touched, so you can re-run the tool with a different page list if you make a mistake.

How do I delete several pages at once?

List them with commas and ranges: 2, 5-6 deletes page 2 and pages 5 and 6. The preview line lists every page that will remain, so you can double-check before downloading.

Can I delete every page?

No — a PDF must contain at least one page, so the tool refuses a list that would remove all of them. If you truly need an empty document, keep one page and delete it later in another editor.

Will deleting pages shrink the file size?

Usually yes, roughly in proportion to the content removed, because the kept pages are re-assembled into a fresh file. Shared resources like embedded fonts are copied once, so the saving is not always exactly proportional.
