JPG to PDF

Combine JPG and PNG images into one PDF — one image per page, fitted and centered on Letter or A4.

Turn photos of receipts, scanned forms, or screenshots into a single tidy PDF for email or upload portals. Each image gets its own page, scaled to fit with a clean margin. Built entirely in your browser.

Your images never leave your browser — the PDF is built on your device.

How to use this calculator

  1. Choose one or more JPG or PNG images.
  2. Check the order in the list — that is the page order.
  3. Pick a page size: US Letter or A4.
  4. Click Create PDF and save the file.

The formula

Scale = min(usable width ÷ image width, usable height ÷ image height), where usable size is the page minus a 36 pt margin on each side. The scaled image is centered on the page.

Worked example

A 2000 x 1000 px photo on a Letter page (612 x 792 pt, 36 pt margins) scales by 0.27 to 540 x 270 pt, centered with its lower-left corner at x = 36, y = 261.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which image formats are supported?

JPG and PNG, which covers phone photos, screenshots, and most scans. Other formats such as WebP or HEIC need converting first — the Convert Image Format tool on this site can turn them into JPG.

How are images placed on the page?

Each image is scaled to fit inside the page with a half-inch (36 point) margin on every side, keeping its original proportions, and centered. Wide images are limited by width; tall images by height.

Can I change the order of the pages?

Images become pages in the order listed. Remove an image with its Remove button and re-add it to move it later in the document; the list order is the page order.

Does the PDF keep the full image quality?

The original image data is embedded as-is for JPGs, so there is no extra compression pass. The PDF file ends up only slightly larger than the images combined.

Letter or A4 — which should I pick?

Letter (8.5 x 11 in) is the US standard; A4 (210 x 297 mm) is standard almost everywhere else. Pick whichever matches the paper the document will be printed on.
